POOL SAFETY

Safe swimming starts before you fill your pool.

All iPoolGo inflatable pools are capable of holding more than 30cm of water and may therefore be subject to Australian pool fencing, registration, approval and inspection requirements.

Before setting up or filling your iPoolGo, check the requirements that apply in your state and with your local council.

⚠ BEFORE YOU FILL YOUR POOL

Your iPoolGo may require a compliant pool safety barrier.

Inflatable and portable pools are not automatically exempt from pool fencing laws simply because they are temporary or inflatable.

Depending on where you live, requirements may include:

✓ Compliant pool fencing
✓ Self-closing and self-latching gates
✓ Council registration
✓ Building approval or permits
✓ Safety inspections or compliance certificates

Always check your local requirements before installation.

CHECK YOUR STATE

Pool safety requirements vary across Australia.

Select your state or territory below to check the latest information from the relevant government authority.

VICTORIA : Victorian Government – Swimming Pools & Spas

NEW SOUTH WALES : NSW Government – Pool & Spa Owner Obligations

QUEENSLAND : Queensland Government – Portable Pools & Spas

SOUTH AUSTRALIA : SA Government – Pool Safety Guide

WESTERN AUSTRALIA : WA Government – Swimming Pool & Spa Safety Barriers

TASMANIA : Tasmanian Government – Pool Safety Barriers

ACT : ACT Government – Home Swimming Pool Safety

NORTHERN TERRITORY NT Government – Pool Fencing & Barrier Safety

Local council requirements can also apply, so we recommend checking with your council before setting up your pool.|

ACTIVE SUPERVISION SAVES LIVES

A pool fence is an important safety measure, but it does not replace active adult supervision.

When enjoying your iPoolGo:

✓ Always actively supervise children in and around the pool

✓ Never leave young children unattended around water

✓ Keep pool gates closed and never prop them open

✓ Keep chairs, tables, toys and other climbable objects away from pool fencing

✓ Remove or restrict access to the pool ladder when the pool is not being used

✓ Keep the water clean and clear so the bottom of the pool remains visible

✓ Regularly check your pool, equipment and safety barrier

✓ Learn CPR and keep emergency information easily accessible

POOL COVERS ARE NOT SAFETY BARRIERS

Your iPoolGo pool cover helps keep your pool protected and clean when it is not being used.

A pool cover does not replace a compliant pool fence or safety barrier.

Where pool fencing is legally required, a cover cannot be used instead of fencing.

CHOOSE A SAFE LOCATION

Before installing your iPoolGo, choose the location carefully.

Place your pool on a:

✓ Level surface
✓ Stable surface
✓ Clean area free from sharp objects
✓ Location with suitable drainage
✓ Position that allows safe access to filtration equipment

Avoid placing the pool near objects that could be used by children to climb over a safety barrier.

DECKS, BALCONIES & RAISED STRUCTURES

A filled swimming pool is extremely heavy.

Do not install your iPoolGo on a deck, balcony, rooftop, suspended slab or other raised structure unless a suitably qualified professional has confirmed that the structure is capable of safely supporting the fully filled pool.

KEEP YOUR POOL AREA SAFE

Pool safety doesn't stop once your pool is installed.

Regularly check: Pool fencing and gates
Make sure gates close and latch correctly.

Pool equipment : Check filtration equipment, hoses and electrical connections.

Pool structure : Check your iPoolGo for signs of damage or excessive wear.

Water visibility : Keep the water clean enough that the bottom of the pool remains clearly visible.

Surrounding area : Keep climbable furniture and objects away from pool barriers.

SAFE POOL. HAPPY SUMMER.

iPoolGo makes having a pool at home easier — but every pool owner has an important responsibility to keep their pool area safe.

SUPERVISE. FENCE WHERE REQUIRED. SWIM SAFE.

Enjoy your iPoolGo. 💦
